Turn of the Century Carousel

In 2000, the School of Visual Arts wanted to create a one-of-a-kind carousel to celebrate the turn of the century. I was one of the few to be invited to create, instead of a horse, a character or icon from the 20th century. My three dimensional art piece allowed visitors to sit on Superman’s lap as he took off. The carousel traveled throughout North America.
